I’ve wanted a scooter for years and finally got tired of talking about it! So in early May ‘08 took the plunge after thinking about commuting to work and how get there safely. Mr. No wasn’t too thrilled – he quickly ran out to upgrade my life insurance. Made the purchase from my friend Russ at Coastal Scooters, located at the end of Broughton Street and am hoping to get 80-90 mpg on my Motofino (like a Vespa one-off).

I see an alter ego emerging….spandex, a diaphanous cape, impromptu recycling, inner peace and great savings.
Hi there! I just found your blog while googling for scooters. Your green bean is beautiful! I wanted to comment because I just placed an order for my first scooter (a red Lance Vinage 150). I can’t wait to get it (bought it from Mogos scooters in Tybee)! How fast can yours go? Have you been on long trips? I went thru most of your entries and they are a good read! I’ll have to bookmark you
Keep scooting!
